Mission
The mission of the CJT Poms Program is to help participants learn the fundamentals of pom routines that will include a variety of dance styles from hip hop to jazz. As the participants move up with each level the routines become more advanced to better prepare them for Junior High and High School poms through regular practice and competition.
POMS KICK!!!.
If you love dancing and performing then poms is for you. Our pom squads will perform a pre-game routine to get the boys "pumped up" before the game. The pom squads also perform during half time entertaining the crowd with high energy rountines that include latest dance moves to the hottest music. If you are interested in being part of the halftime fun then poms is perfect for you.
CJT cheer and Pom is a member of the Tri County Cheerleading and Pom League (TCCP), a premier Cheer and Pom youth recreatonal league in the Midwest. TCCP is partners with the Tri County Youth Football League.
The end of the season offers all of our CJT families the opportunity to be dazzled by the performance of each cheer and pom squad at our annual family Performance Night.
The CJT participates in a Pom competition at the end of the season through our Tri County Cheerleading and Pom League. Some squads may particiapate in an invitational Pom competition as well.
You will laern new skills, make new friends, get stronger, gain confidence, and have tons of fun.
